Vintage Military Feuerhand 276 Baby Special Hurricane Lantern Set with Bundeswehr Case & Signal Glasses

Beautiful vintage military set featuring a Feuerhand 276 Baby Special hurricane lantern housed in its original army green metal transport case, complete with two colored spare signal glass globes.

This lantern was primarily used by the military as both an oil lantern and a signaling lamp. A particularly rare and desirable detail is the inclusion of the original instruction manual. The set appears almost unused, which is also evident from the original label still being attached to the lantern.

Both the lantern and the metal case are marked with the military Versorgungsnummer (supply number):
6260-12-120-5947

This number can be decoded as follows:

• 12 = West Germany
• 120-5947 = Product number

Inside the case is also a stamped BWB marking (Bundesamt für Wehrtechnik und Beschaffung – German Federal Office of Defense Technology and Procurement), together with the marking “9 76,” indicating likely military acceptance or inspection dating from September 1976.

All three glass globes are marked with the original Feuerhand logo.
